Founded by Chennie Huang, Axis of Culture is an editorial platform that interrogates how cultural narratives produce systems of knowledge, interpretation, and meaning. Working across art, media, and intellectual history, it engages questions of cognition, intelligence, and perception, placing artistic practice in dialogue with philosophy, emerging technologies, and the human sciences in order to examine the conditions under which meaning is formed.
Incorporated in December 2025, Axis of Culture is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in New York. The platform launched with its founding issue in spring 2026.
